Born and raised in Toronto, Jason followed in his siblings’ footsteps to become the third Chartered Accountant in his household (we’re a fun bunch, I swear). He then broke the mold by moving to California and later, Arizona, where he served as CFO for several high-growth companies. This experience ultimately led him to spend seven years at First West Capital, a Canadian growth capital provider of unitranche debt, mezzanine financing, and minority equity.
 
As a Director leading Eastern Canada, Jason was responsible for deal origination, credit underwriting, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Argyle, he worked in EY’s Capital Markets group, advising on debt financings and capital structure strategy for Canadian companies.
 
Jason joined Argyle in 2025, where he partners with family-owned businesses to break through to their next stage of growth and profitability by aligning leadership and accelerating the initiatives that truly move the needle.
 
Outside of work, Jason is a devoted husband and dad of two (read: he hasn’t slept in years), and firmly believes you can still have hobbies. Jason:
• Plays basketball (now at an age where warming up is non-optional),
• Runs (3 half-marathons completed, because therapy is expensive),
• Plays chess (ranked top 5% on chess.com, which impresses 0% of his friends).
